Heavy Metal is a solely owned company run by one of the best, if not the best metal fabricators in the state of California.  Richard Burns started his career at the age of 14 in the oilfields of Bakersfield where he made his way through the ranks of some of the most technologically based companies in existence.  To name a few: Rocketdyne (Rockwell International), Garret Airesearch, Borg Warner Nuclear Valve Division. 

Richard took his welding and fabrication talents and formed a company over 22 years ago named Heavy Metal, specializing in both residential and commercial applications dealing with everything from certified structural steel gates, railings, etc.  Anything dealing with both carbon and alloy steel.  We specialize in artistically based projects.
